We are seeking a dynamic and experienced person to join our fast-growing startup to lead our Group Accounting Team. You will play a crucial role in shaping our accounting strategy and leading the financial operations of our organization. **What you´ll do**:

- Own and implement the accounting strategy, including vision, projects, and team structure, to align with our company's goals and objectives.
- Take ownership of preparing monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance, while overseeing the consolidation and reporting processes for 25+ entities.
- Implement best-in-class accounting processes that can scale to a 2 billion EUR state, leveraging automation, digitization, and other cutting-edge technologies.
- Lead projects and manage improvement resources, focusing on performance reporting to drive operational efficiencies and enhance financial insights.
- Identify opportunities to improve our business, such as growth and profitability, through effective diffusion and utilization of financial statements.
- Provide daily support to the accounting sub-team (AP, AR, GL) in delivering high-quality statements within a fast-changing and growing business environment, while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Advance and optimize the team structure by strategically defining locations, responsibilities, and leading hiring initiatives to build a high-performing accounting team.
- Mentor and drive the professional development of team members, fostering their growth and ensuring a strong talent pipeline.

**This is what you´ll bring us**:

- A minimum of 4 years of experience in group accounting across all levels, including industry and audit.
- Profound knowledge of IFRS accounting and possess a BSc./MSc./MBA in related fields.
- An inspiring leader who believes that accounting can have an essential and long-term impact on our business success.
- A strategic and creative thinker who can effectively manage stakeholders and navigate competing priorities.
- Someone who can easily adapt and prioritize the most important and impactful initiatives in a constantly changing environment.
- Experience in data and ERP projects, including migration, is highly desired.
- A strong hands-on mentality, pragmatism, and the ability to influence change through persuasion rather than force. You are an entrepreneur within the finance field.
- A solution-oriented and intellectually curious mindset, always seeking fast results, scoping projects, and embracing continuous learning.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and developing teams, even if it is a small team.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication and presentation skills.
