An opportunity for a Project Director to join SEFE and drive the success of complex asset build projects

Hydrogen is as a key enabler to us achieving a climate-neutral energy supply in the future, which in turn has created an opportunity for a Project Director to join SEFE and play a crucial role in driving the success of complex asset build projects to produce and off-take hydrogen, with JV - Partners.

This is an exciting time to join SEFE. As an experienced Senior Project Director, adept at influencing and driving results you will be leading international projects and teams that will deliver successful outcomes and make a meaningful impact on SEFE’s strategic goals.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**

You will play a pivotal role in representing SEFE’s interests in the planning and realisation of asset build projects with JV - Partners. Working closely with a mix of stakeholders you will drive and lead a team of experts from project start, development into an emerging market, through to successful delivery, ensuring resource is effectively managed, risks identified, and mitigation strategies implemented through effective project governance.

As an experienced project lead you will foster front-loading to ensure the long-term success of the projects through holistic and robust plans for SEFE, including exit strategies. You will have the confidence to stop, think and potentially take a project in a different direction to mitigate risk and achieve commercial results. **WHAT YOU WILL BRING**

As an experienced Project Director, with a track record of successfully delivering international asset build (ideally renewable energy or hydrogen related) projects to time and on budget you will also demonstrate
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project goals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels
- Proficiency in project management tools and software
- Knowledge of project management methodologies
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make decisions under pressure
- Willingness to frequently travel for project-related meetings and other activities (circa 50% travel)
- Fluency in English (written and spoken), German (desirable)
- A degree level qualification in project management, business administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred) or equivalent experience
- IPMA level B/A certification or equivalent (desirable)
