Tasks
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS following the company’s timelines
- Oversee the invoicing process, ensuring it adheres to internal guidelines and drive the dunning process
- Manage tax handling processes on a monthly basis
- Oversee all German bank accounts, ensuring accurate and timely transactions
- Take responsibility for the open items on accounts payable and accounts receivable, propose accrual and deferral accounts on a monthly basis
- Monitor payroll accounts and fixed asset accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Process national and international payment transactions, including cash management
- Respond to ad-hoc requests from management and external stakeholders such as the tax office, auditors, banks, etc.

**Requirements**:

- A graduate financial accountant with a minimum of 5 years of experience, or an IHK Bilanzbuchhalter with at least 2-3 years of experience
- Extensive knowledge of DATEV software is mandatory
- Experience in the software industry is a plus but not a requirement
- Knowledge of IFRS is beneficial but not necessary
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with both internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken, is essential
