Coordinator (M/w/d) Order Management & Customer

**The role**:
**This is a full-time, fixed-term position (2 years) located in Darmstadt.**

**What you will do**:

- Manage customer orders from receipt of order through to delivery at customer destination including billing.
- Work closely with 3rd party logistics provider (3PL) and customers to achieve on-time and in-full delivery service to customers according to Kao standards.
- Manage customer order prioritisation with commercial team and 3PL especially to successfully reach month-end and year-end closing targets but also in case of special events (e.g. promotions, launch/relaunch). Pro-actively manage potential short-term stock shortages and allocation process (out of stocks) in cooperation with internal commercial
- and planning-team as well as external customers.
- Manage relationships with internal and external customers. Internally with country specific commercial teams, attending country-specific Sales
- and Consensus-Meetings on a regular basis. Externally with customers logistics-/order
- and EDI-dept. as well as customers distribution center to understand customer specific processes in order to improve service level and reduce supply chain costs and lead-time in collaboration with Line Manager. This includes customer visits on a regular base
- Ensure and support that order-handling procedures are in line with Kao internal rules and regulations, but also meet customer and business requirements with regards to available technologies.
- Support Manager Customer Logistics Mass DACH in reviewing and improving logístical processes and logistic costs as well as creation of various reports covering those areas

**What you will need**:

- Successfully completed vocational education (kaufmännische Ausbildung).
- Profound experience and proven track record with EDI implementations necessary
- Experience in order management with a focus on logistics processes
- Fluent German language skills
- Experience in working with international retail customers in the FMCG sector
- Good understanding of SCM processes and dependencies
- SAP knowledge of the modules SD and MM desirable
- Good knowledge in MS Office (particularly Excel) and a general interest in digital processes
- Strong team player
