HR Generalist

**The role**

The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing all HR processes and practices enabling the HR team to support the business. This role will be key in delivering all people related policies, processes and development as well as coaching management and employees through the employment life cycle.

**What will you be doing?**
- Oversee administration related to new starters, leavers and any other changes to employee terms and conditions
- First line advice to the business on appropriate methods to manage performance, handle employee relations matters and provide generalist HR support
- Provide operational HR support on (for example) HR reporting, system changes, and other people related solutions
- Work closely and building strong relationships with business managers, teams and other relevant stakeholders
- Coach, advise and challenge, where appropriate, the business on short
- and medium-term HR issues as required
- Ownership of payroll process and HR systems management
- Developing, updating and implementing policies and procedures
- Leading on the Performance Management Process
- Supporting the HR Management Team in any key HR processes
- Supporting the recruitment for the DACH region

**We'd like you to bring to us.**
- Experience as an HR Administrator in DACH region
- Working knowledge of German Employment law
- Excellent technical HR knowledge
- Fluent written and spoken German and English language is a must
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders
- Knowledge of UK & European employment law would be beneficial but not essential
- Passionate about customer service with ability to articulate previous achievements through business deliverables
- Developing experience of business/commercial approach and understanding of business needs
- Experience of working in a secure and confidential environment
- Developing working knowledge of employee relations
- Proven track record of operating in a complex working environment
- Team player, Strong attention to detail, organisational and administrative skills
- Driven, proactive, confident and credible
