Director & Head of Development and Operations

In the role as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) you are a member of the management team of Siltectra GmbH (an Infineon company). The main focus point is the industrialization of an innovative wafer/boule splitting technology in order to enable substantial potential cost savings and cost competitiveness for Silicon carbide based technologies for our divisions.

In your new role you will:

- **Be responsible for all innovation and development activities at Siltectra **in particular process
- and tool development of high technical complexity due to the technical novelity and the non-availability of commercial tools requiring high level of technical insight & leadership
- **Control the pilot line and manage the extension to production line **(operators, facility, tools, processes) as ISO certified Infineon (IFX) own subcon (including maintenance, infrastructure, logistics, factory integration)
- **Lead a group **of high level technology & process experts and the manufacturing team; manage **transition from start-up to IFX-standards **, ensure knowledge retention and further development needing flexible leadership, soft skills and excellent ability to solve problems
- **Manage stakeholder and align with other Infineon-sites and top management of different divisions **including target definition and reaching KPIs concering development and manufacturing, regular reporting and technical guidance to IFX board level
- Be an **advocate for the new Siltectra technology **with clear business mindedness in terms of time, cost, quality, help to overcome the barriers, concerns and resistances concerning the neccessary technical and product changes to ensure the financial benefit for IFX SiC business
- Work in an international team and take on **r **esponsibilities within the framework of the transfer to the high volume site Malaysia**

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

- A **degree in Physics, Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering **, or any similiar technical field of study
- Ideally **experience as a leader in production sites **; **background within the semiconductors area is a plus**:

- High degree of **analy **tical thinking **as well as the ability of fast problem identification, effective isolation and efficient elimination
- Enjoy working in a **company with a start-up character **, facing numerous new challenges, using creative freedom and also having a feeling and sensitivity for the concerns of his employees
- **High social competence **, convincing presentation skills, balancing team member interests against ambitious target setting
- **Excellent German and English communication skills**
