**Group leader (M/F/x) Medical Artificial Intelligence & modelling**:
**Your tasks**:

- research and development in clinical artificial intelligence (AI) and Digital Health, machine learning amd digital twin modelling, e.g. of neurological structures, movement, organ function, incorporating multimodal data form, e.g. wearable, mobile and implantable devices
- develop and coordinate a group of researchers, including staff management, acquisition of research funding, scientific publications of research results in medical AI, biomedical engineering, medical informatics and medicine
- definition of research themes and strategy, coordination of research project consortia
- integration into the scientific network of Hahn-Schickard and the University of Freiburg
- collaboration in cross-domain teams

**Your profile**:

- highly motivated researcher with a Ph.D. in medical AI, medical informatics, computer science or related disciplines as well as specific scientific experience in the field of medicine or healthcare, demonstrated by scientific publications, including validation studies
- experience in several of the following areas: data mining, deep neural networks, Bayesian methods or digital health twin modelling
- ideally experience in the management of research projects
- creativity, initiative, team-oriented working style and entrepreneurial mindset
- excellent language skills in English and -if applicable
- willingness to timely acquire the German language
