**Group leader (M/F/x) Wearable Sensors & Biosensors**:
**Your tasks**:
- research and development in the area of biosensors in particular on bioanalytical microsystems and transducers, integration in wearable systems and implants
- development of sensors, e.g. OECT, optical and other principles, moreover addressing biocompatibility analyses, anti-fouling mechanisms and biodegradable systems
- develop and coordinate a group of researchers, including staff management, acquisition of research funding, scientific publications of research funding, scientific publications of research results in biomedical engineering, material science and medicine
- definition of research themes and strategy
- integration into the scientific network of Hahn-Schickard and the University of Freiburg
- collaboration in cross-domain teams
**Your profile**:
- highly motivated researcher with a Ph.D. in electrical eEngineering, material science, physics or related disciplines as well as specific scientific experience in the field of biosensors, demonstrated by scientific publications, including validation studies
- experience in several of the following areas: lab operation, additive manufacturing, bioprinting, sensor characterisation, biocompatibility analyses
- ideally experience in the management of research projects
- creativity, initiative, team-oriented working style and entrepreneurial mindset
- excellent language skills in English and -if applicable
- willingness to timely acquire the German language
