At a Glance:
We're looking for a creative, cross-channel copywriter to lead our marketing copy and storytelling in the German-speaking markets. You’ll bring a portfolio brimming with fresh (and even awarded) campaigns and editorial content, and a deep understanding of crafting copy to a high standard. You’ll team up with related divisions and also have projects to work on independently, in a category that we have the opportunity to define. You will help us continue to grow our reputation for producing brave creative work in all disciplines and help our business thrive.

Your Team:
Based in our Berlin or Zurich office, you will work closely with the Brand Communications teams across locations (Zurich, Berlin, London, Portland and more). The briefs and opportunities come thick and fast. At our core, we tell compelling stories about the experiences our brand makes possible. If you’re bursting with original ideas and have the drive and skills to see them realized, this is the team for you.

Your Mission:

- Lead and evolve brand storytelling and copy for German markets
- Own the evolution of the brand tone of voice, edit copy and provide actionable feedback to translators and writers to ensure that copy meets TOV expectations
- Craft powerful and compelling stories in German and bring it life across all channels
- Oversee the transcreation of key brand messaging
- Write powerful tag lines and positioning statements in German for products and campaigns
- Interview athletes, ambassadors and experts for long-form articles
- Incessantly deliver original/inventive concepts and distinctive tones of voice for your projects
- Write, transcreate and edit occasional brand comms press releases

Your Story:

- Native speaker of German, business level in English
- A passion for writing, a track record of editing and an understanding of SEO principles
- Imagination and creativity, able to question and expand on an initial brief
- Demonstrated ability to articulately explain and constructively defend an idea to related teams
- You’re an ambitious creative, with a cracking portfolio and a creative agency background
- A passion for all things sports and active living that’s matched only by your love of writing
