At the Department of Biology/Chemistry at the University of Osnabrück, the following positions are available as soon as possible

**Three Junior group leader positions with a focus on (M/F/d) Molecular/Cellular/Structural Membrane Biology**
**(Pay Scale** **E 14 TV-L, 100%)**:
The employment is initially for a period of three years with the perspective of a further extension by up to four years.

**Responsibilities**:

- To lead an independent junior research group focused on molecular, cellular and/or structural membrane biology
- A contribution to teaching in bachelor's and master's degree programs
- An own scientific qualification

**Requirements**:

- A special aptitude for in-depth independent scientific work, usually demonstrated by a doctorate of outstanding quality and further research experience during the post-doctoral phase
- For one of the three positions: extensive expertise in cryo-electron tomography and FIB milling
- Experience in functional or structural analysis of proteins or lipids and in the context of cellular membranes and/or method development in this area
