It takes a skilled intelligence expert to know how to find and interpret the best data to give their clients the right answers. To support the critical decisions made in the Department of Defense (DoD) every day, we need a Plans and Exercises HUMINT Desk Officer like you to do just that.

At Booz Allen, you’ll use your personal experience, training, certifications, and good judgment to build solutions in support of critical DoD collection priorities. As a Plans and Exercises HUMINT Desk Officer, you’ll bring your planner expertise to directly improve critical operational outcomes for our Defense mission clients. You’ll develop exercise and pre-deployment plans of action and milestones, manage execution of events, and support briefs, assessment plans, exercise observation reports and recommendations, after action reviews, information papers, and training and education program analysis reports. You’ll help identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, and processes, coordinate and manage exercise lifecycle planning events, and provide exercise support with a focus on improving force readiness. You’ll be a trusted advisor and share knowledge and findings that have a direct impact on the ability of our warfighters and policymakers to advance the defense interests of the United States.

**You Have**:

- 8+ years of experience with computer-based tools, including CHROME, CRATE, DX, G2G, Mosaic, NGT, and QLIX
- 8+ years of experience with the Planning Process or Military Decision-Making Process in major subordinate command level
- Experience with writing cables
- Experience with exercise control activities, including exercise design and implementation of exercise storylines, vignettes, and Master Scenario Events Lists
- Experience drafting briefs, orders, papers, and letters with a senior-level military command
- Knowledge of Service-level concepts, doctrine, and campaign plan design
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor’s degree

**Nice If You Have**:

- Experience developing, revising, and coordinating campaign, support, and contingency plans, including commander’s estimates, base plans, concept plans, and operations plans
- Experience integrating DoD requirements, targets, and priorities into planning and participation in Joint operation contingency and crisis planning activities
- Knowledge of the conduct, activities, governance, business practices, or operation of Combatant Commands
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Ability to analyze available information, develop and test options, write plans and orders, and assess organizational progress
- Possession of excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
