We are currently looking for an Accountant to join our team at the German Headquarter in Frankfurt.

Tasks

We are looking for an accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. Bookkeeper duties include reviewing financial records and procedures, reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns. You will provide us with accurate quantitative information about our company's financial position, liquidity and cash flow while ensuring that we comply with all tax regulations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage all accounting transactions
- Publish financial statements in time
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
- Audit financial transactions and documents
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
- Comply with financial policies and regulations

**Requirements**:
**Experience**:

- 3+ years of professional experience in a finance or accounting role
- Knowledge or experience in Finance and/or Decentralized Finance and/or Cryptocurrency/Blockchain
- Background must have strong accounting, tax and cash management experience
- Demonstrated experience in setting up, operating, and managing

accounting systems
- Highly organized and resourceful
- Excellent communication, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, integrity, and sound judgment
- Referenceable track record of integrity and maintaining and protecting highly sensitive and confidential information
- Self-motivated with the ability to come up with new initiatives and

ideas and thrives in a startup environment

**Level of studies**:
Diploma, Bachelor or Master Degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or similar

**Language Requirements**:
Fluent in German and English

**Software/IT/Development skills**:
Microsoft Office, Excel, Accounting Systems e.g. SAP
