**Responsibilities**:
Duties include academic services in the project named above. Research associates may also pursue independent research and further academic qualifications. They may also pursue doctoral studies outside of working duties.

**Profile**:
A university degree in a relevant field.
- a strong quantitative background in Economics, Finance, or a related field
- solid programming skills (ideally in Python, Matlab, or R)
- interest in advanced quantitative methods, including Machine Learning and Large Language Models
- strong interest in developing and analyzing advanced financial models that incorporate climate risks, in particular climate extremes
- high motivation to conduct independent and innovative research at the intersection of climate science and financial economics
