Technical Imaging Expert

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:

We are FRAMOS, an international product-driven tech company of more than 180 amazing people from all over the world. We are looking for a Technical Imaging Expert to join our team to achieve our strategic goals and grow our organization further.
The TIE - Image Sensors is core to growing Framos competencies on the technology of Image Sensors, sharing knowledge and contributing with their technical expertise to various departments success, for example Sales, Marketing and Engineering.
Reporting directly to the Head of Technical Solutions & Support based in Munich, you will be working in a small team of global technical imaging experts.

**Responsibilities**:

- You will be growing an Image Sensors competence center with the goal of nurturing knowledge and making it accessible to all FRAMOSians
- You will provide regular technical trainings to Sales, Growth and rest of TSS to ensure a high standard of tech competence around Image Sensors in our customer facing pre-sales
- You will take ownership for Imaging Lab requirements definition & result interpretation around Image Sensor tests
- You will act as Alpha-Customer for NPI releases around latest image sensor technologies
- You will be the expert point of contact for 3rd level technologies enquiries, sparring partner for advanced discussions and interface to FRAMOS Engineering and FAEs on supplier side
- You will make sure to enable your colleagues on all technical Image Sensors support they need to work efficiently
- You will understand and create awareness of technical USPs for our image sensors portfolio

The role can be based in one of our offices in Europe (Munich, Zagreb or Cakovec) or remotely anywhere in Europe.

**YOUR PROFILE**:
As a Technical Imaging Expert,
- You have at least 3 years' experience working with CMOS Image Sensors
- You have finished studies related to Semiconductors
- You are English language fluent written/verbal, German language considered a bonus
- You have an understanding of core image sensors performance parameters and dependencies like MTF, CRA, ADC, read/dark/shot noise, HDR, FWC, SNR
- You can read/write register maps, interpret schematics and driver source code
- You have high motivation for the Imaging market
- You have a passion for CMOS sensors & imaging
- You like to do research and are good at problem solving
- You are a fast learner who has strong communication and organisation skills
- You are good at explaining complex technical aspects in an understandable way
- You would like to fulfil an expert's role and contribute to other departments' success by building up & sharing knowledge and working on deep technological tasks
