Chief of Staff

Cherry is excited to announce that we are expanding our team with a **Chief of Staff Venture Capital** for our **Berlin** office. As one of Europe's most successful seed funds managing $1 billion across funds, this is a great time to join the team.

You will work directly with Alex, our CFO and Operating Partner, a rewarding role as an integral part of the firm that involves strategic planning, creating and reviewing internal operations and processes, initiating and leading special projects, portfolio engagement and managing staff. **As a Chief of Staff, your key responsibilities will include**:

- Support the firm's long-term strategic planning and define success metrics to drive operational excellence
- Initiate and lead special projects, driving high-impact initiatives including, but not limited to, thematic projects, leadership and team offsites, and refining organisational structures
- Support the wider Strategic Resources Group in defining and executing their strategy to drive growth within the portfolio
- Establish, enable, and maintain aligned internal communications across the firm
- Coordinate investment processes such as investment approvals and portfolio reviews
- Drive the continued success of the internal administration team
- This role is not an investment manager position or a partner track role; instead, it is an ideal opportunity to get involved with the firm's ambitious growth plans.
- You are an experienced operations / strategy / project management professional (at least 2+ years) with a background within top management consulting, investment banking, or a project manager, operations expert with start-up experience who demonstrates an ability to achieve results with mínimal supervision.
- High academic achievement from a renowned University
- Analytical experience working with numbers and large amounts of information
- Operational excellence in PowerPoint and Excel as well as strong aptitude to work with new software
- International and multicultural mindset/background
