COLORS is a unique aesthetic music platform showcasing exceptional talent from all around the globe, focused on promoting the most distinctive new artists and original sounds. In the context of an increasingly fragmented and saturated scene, we seek to provide clarity and calm, offering a minimalistic stage to shine a spotlight on the artists and give them the opportunity to present their music without distraction.

JOB OVERVIEW:

As Chief of Staff, you will drive clarity, alignment and execution across the company. You'll help shape COLORS' strategic direction, translate priorities into actionable plans and ensure seamless coordination. This role offers a unique opportunity to have a true seat at the table and gain deep insights into steering a global music brand. With a strong focus on growth and responsibility, our shared goal is for you to develop into a leading role at COLORS after two years.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

  • Close collaboration with our CEO and senior management across operational and strategic topics. 
  • Translating COLORS' strategy into tangible action items and short-term priorities.
  • Manage our CEO's calendar, coordinate internal and external meetings, organize travel schedules and ensure optimal use of resources (e.g. time, costs). 
  • Monitor upcoming priorities and provide regular overviews of key deadlines. 
  • Prepare meetings, record and track action items and coordinate across teams to ensure deliverables are met. 
  • Drive communication on all levels to operationalise the company's strategic priorities; leading the definition and tracking of quarterly OKRs. 
  • Prepare internal and external presentation decks and materials such as quarterly Team Summits, board meetings etc.  
  • Continually review ways to improve communication, workflows and efficiencies across all areas of the business, identifying gaps and providing solutions. 


TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE: 

  • Master's degree in Business, Creative Industries Management or any other related field. 
  • 2+ years experience in strategy planning, business administration or management consulting, music ecosystem experience at a label or DSP is a plus.
  • Professional and clear communication in both written and verbal form. Discretion with sensitive information. 
  • Business-level proficiency in both German and English is a must.
  • Fluency in contemporary tools such as Slack, Notion and especially native to G-Suite.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and be able to lead something with little input and context.
  • A natural ability to build and maintain relationships and anticipate needs and challenges as well as think ahead.
  • Highly structured, organized, and proactive. Ability to manage competing priorities. 
  • Track record of turning complexity into clear, actionable plans
