**Your Role**

As an Intern or Working Student in the Accounting, you are a member of our Finance & Legal department. You will support the day-to-day business and independently plan and execute accounting related projects. You will work closely with our department’s management team and contribute directly to projects that shape the future of our company (such as preparing accurate monthly financial statements according to IFRS and HGB).

**Your Responsibilities**:

- You support our daily business by running operational tasks (e. g. invoice management and mail processing) independently and reviewing and analyzing your results.
- You critically question, analyze and improve existing processes within your team, the Accounting department. We constantly aim to improve our existing setup with maximum efficiency. Help us to build the best possible version of FINN with world-class processes enabling us to have a smoothly running organization.
- You assume responsibility by supporting us in our monthly closing and reporting process, where we prepare our financial statements for all our entities, both in accordance with statutory requirements and IFRS.

**Your Profile**:

- You are currently enrolled in a German university studying Finance, Economics or similar.
- You are available for at least 3 months (internship) / 6 months (working student).
- Previous experience in consulting, Big4, high growth startups or another high performance environment, experience in Finance is a plus.
- Well organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong solution finding abilities with new, creative approaches on how to overcome challenges.
- Highly analytical and comfortable around numbers.
- Meticulous attention to detail and joy in precise working.
- You are fluent in English. German is a plus.
