The Acoustics Division at the Department of Medical Physics and Acoustics, University of Oldenburg, Germany, seeks **as soon as possible** a motivated
**PhD student** (M/F/d, 75% of full time TV-L 13 position, 3 years)
**in the field of machine learning and speech enhancement**
The research focus of this project is developing methods for speaker separation and enhancement in complex acoustical scenes using machine learning approaches and techniques from the field of computational auditory scene analysis.
Applicants for the position must have a completed scientific university degree (Master or Diploma (Uni)) in Hearing Technology & Audiology, Physics, Engineering or a related discipline. In addition, applicants should have solid knowledge in at least one of the following areas:
- Speech and audio signal processing.
- Machine learning techniques for audio processing.
- Computational auditory scene analysis.
