The product design department oversees the entire product development process or upgrades the existing product designs. By identifying and characterizing the issues, we design solutions scaling from technical to human-centered methods.

We’re looking for a UX Researcher to join the UX Research Squad.

You will be a member of the UX Research Squad in the Product Design Team. UX Research Squad is our key link to the users in the product discovery stage. Your role will be crucial in advocating for the users within the company and providing user insights for educated design and business decisions.

The Product Design Team works on NordVPN user acquisition, activation, and retention, including internal projects across the web platform.
**What You Will Do**
- Conduct evaluative and exploratory research like interviews, field research, and usability studies;
- Own full research process: from forming research goals to reporting the findings;
- Proactively initiate and execute user research throughout the design and development lifecycle, from early strategic direction through post-release iterations;
- Communicate and advocate for actionable insights effectively;
- Employ a wide range of research methods, design workshops, and quantitative data from other research activities;
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, designers, and other stakeholders across the teams. Run and participate in design workshops.

**What We Expect**
- Prior experience of 3+ years as a UX researcher in a product team;
- Ability to connect different types of data (qualitative and quantitative research, secondary research, data science, customer support tickets);
- Ability to present your work to stakeholders in an unambiguous manner;
- Flexible and adaptive to a high-paced environment;
- Team player, while also being able to work autonomously;
- Insatiable curiosity and genuine empathy for the user experience;
- Core design skills. Advanced design skills are a plus.
