Porsche AG **Aufgaben **Aufgaben**Aufgaben*** Motivation: - When using automated driving functions, humans continuously provide feedback by interacting with the vehicle and intervening if they are unsatisfied with the function's behavior. - This feedback is currently unused but could be utilized to adapt the function's behavior to the driver's individual wishes. - Such human machine cooperation can be used to further increase human acceptance of driver assistance systems and automated driving functions. Objective: - This master thesis focuses on the analysis of such driver interventions during automated driving. - A test group study was conducted, annotating the interventions performed by drivers on repeatedly driven roads. - The annotations contain information on why the drivers intervened and how they want the system to behave instead. - In order to optimize the driving function for individual drivers, the recorded time series data from the vehicle bus and the annotations can be analyzed and needed adjustments can be derived. - There, it is especially interesting whether the adjustments need to be applied to the whole driving function’s behavior or whether only adaptations to certain locations need to be done. - The exact structure of the thesis will be defined with the thesis student and the supervisor. **Anforderungen **Anforderungen**Anforderungen*** - Studies in engineering or natural sciences (e.g. computer science, mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, etc.) - Ideally with a focus on data analytics, data science, machine learning - Experience with time series data, feature extraction, clustering - Strong Python programming skills (OOP, clean code, documentation, version control, numpy, pandas) - Excellent English skills, good German skills - Strong analytical thinking, research affinity and confident in taking responsibility - This thesis will support the work of PhD students at the Porsche AG in the field of assisted, automated, and autonomous driving. **Unternehmensprofil **Unternehmensprofil**Unternehmensprofil*** “In the beginning, I looked around and could not find quite the car I dreamed of.
