**Responsibilities**:
- Observing and analyzing the procurement markets, developing and implementing sourcing strategies including preparing, conducting and concluding price, framework and contract negotiations- Developing purchasing strategies for capital expenditures (CAPEX)- Assessing, auditing and developing suppliers together with supplier quality engineers- Support technically challenging projects and investments in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Infrastructure and Testing in cooperation with Quality and Health Safety Environment (HSE) departments- Coordinate more complex contracts with the legal department- Conducting inquiries, price analyses and bid comparisons as well as project-specific supplier search and selection- Collaboration with Corporate Purchasing at our Head Quarter in Weinheim

Qualifications:
- Successfully completed studies in the field of electronics, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable discipline- Several years of practical experience in purchasing and in the production environment of an industrial company in the mechanical and plant engineering or automotive industries- Several years of purchasing experience in the area of indirect procurement (Indirect Material Procurement)- Sound knowledge of project management as well as process knowledge and methods in strategic purchasing- Knowledge of value analysis, value creation and target cost planning- Good communication and teamwork skills, negotiation skills and cost awareness as well as a high level of interest and understanding of technical contexts- Confident handling of MS-Office, experience with SAP (Materials Management) and purchasing-specific IT tools- Very good knowledge of German and English
