**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Accountant to join our growing Finance team. The Accounts Receivable Accountant is a key member to the team and will have both day-to-day and ongoing influence on transactions and processes, ensuring we stay on track, report on time and accurately, and stay in good contact with our valued customers.
**ONCE YOU ARE HERE YOU WILL**:
- Manage ongoing accounts receivable accounting in accordance with HGB and IFRS and issue invoices in line with tax standards
- Managing the invoice run process by issuing invoices for all four entities in accordance with local tax standards, tracking and recording payments
- Process dunning procedures and clarification of open items with customers
- Review and translate sales contracts into our accounting systems
- Key partner to sales organization and clients in Finance
- Prepare monthly financial statements
- Manage the taxation domain and be the main point of contact with the external tax advisors
- Assist in preparation of annual financial statements according to HGB & IFRS
- Support in the further development of our accounting processes
- Carrying out ad hoc evaluations and analyses
**WHAT WE NEED YOU TO BRING TO THE TABLE**:
- 5+ years of professional experience in financial accounting or tax consultancy, preferably in a firm setting
- Experience in preparing annual financial statements following HGB and IFRS guidelines, with a strong understanding of German commercial and tax laws. Knowledge of ASC 606 and US tax law is advantageous
- Confident in communicating with clients and dealing with contractual language in English and German
- Committed and respectful team player with a commercial mindset, hands-on mentality, and a strong sense of responsibility
- Ability to think holistically and work independently with a solution-oriented approach
- Good command of German and English
- Demonstrated ability to work in a structured manner and attention to detail
- Experience in SaaS of Software companies is an advantage.
