**We are looking for a Financial Accountant - Accounts Receivables for our Accounting team in the heart of buzzing Berlin**

Our accounting team works partly from home and partly in our new offices in Berlin, near Ostbahnhof. The accounting team currently consists of 22 people, four of whom are in the Accounts Receivable team. We are now looking for support for the latter team The accounting team in Berlin takes care of the financial accounting of the entire Babbel Group. Since many HGB-relevant technical terms are important in accounting, the accounting team communicates entirely in German. Communication with colleagues from other departments of the company takes place in English, as this is Babbel's corporate language.

**You will**:

- Support our Accounts Receivable Team in their daily tasks related to the processing and support of ongoing business transactions. In particular, the B2B invoicing process and the dunning process should be mentioned here
- Support us with our monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and take on other activities in day-to-day business
- Be the contact person for other teams in the accounting and B2B area as well as for auditors and tax consultants
- Work actively with your colleagues to further optimize and automate our processes

**You have**:

- Completed a business administration degree with a focus on Accounting & Finance and/or have had at least 2 years of professional experience in accounts receivable, ideally also in cooperation with B2B sales teams
- A communicative, independent and careful way of working
- Fluent German and English skills, at least level B1 (spoken and written)
- User knowledge of at least one ERP system (SAGE X3 or similar) and very good MS Excel knowledge (ideally supplemented by knowledge of Power Query)
