We are looking for a R&D Project Manager for our European countries. This position is located in Frankfurt or Hassfurt, Germany or Nastola/Finland or Getafe/Spain and is amongst other tasks, responsible for:
- What will you do:- Delegates and prioritizes individual or team projects to enable business strategy in BLD-E across defined categories. Participates and provides strategy feedback through key KPIs. Tracks the execution of program and individual project success criteria and objectives in the responsible region.-
- Models our Uponor values and behaviors to engage diverse audiences among the project management teams.-
- Exercises judgement and makes decisions in partnership with key stakeholders within focused area of functional responsibility.-
- Manages Project Management budget.-
- Sets individual or team performance objectives that are aligned with the function strategy to drive high performance. Evaluates and measures performance consistent with the high performance standards set by the organization.-
- Negotiates shared objectives with cross functional team members.-
- Guides technical review of system design and documentation.-
- Follows all established guidelines for proper execution and documentation.-
- Serves as a project manager himself/herself and provides project management services to projects.- What will you need:- Bachelor of Science or Engineering from an accredited institution is required. Masters or MBA is preferred.-
- Eight or more years of experience in an enterprise-sized PMO is required with experience managing projects or programs at a portfolio level.-
- 10+ years of project management experience with medium and large projects is required.-
- Ability to lead and manage cross-functional resources is required.-
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.-
- Project or program management experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.-
- Five or more years of experience with using Microsoft Project or equivalent project management software tools is preferred.-
