**Responsibilities**:
**Exciting opportunities await you** - Take on a key role in our purchasing team and lead the global and strategic procurement of the Packaging category. Your responsibilities in detail:

- Creation and implementation of global and regional purchasing strategies in close coordination with the category team in the divisions
- Functional leadership of the cross-divisional category team
- Development and implementation of a value creation portfolio to ensure cost
- and quality-optimized supply to production sites
- Conducting regional and global tenders, considering site-specific conditions with the aim of achieving best-cost results
- Continuous evaluation and optimization of the supplier portfolio
- Commercial responsibility for strategic suppliers at the global and regional levels
- Business partnering in the divisions to capture divisional expectations and reflect them in purchasing decisions

**Requirements**:
**With this profile, you convince us** - You will be ideally qualified if you hold a degree in Business, Engineering, or Business Chemistry and have already gained extensive experience in global strategic procurement for packaging materials (or similar). Your proven conceptual and implementation strength will help you successfully implement innovative purchasing strategies. Your further skills:

- Experience in the strategic procurement of packaging materials in an industrial environment is desirable
- Experience in international and intercultural cooperation as well as very good English language skills, both written and spoken
- Excellent organizational understanding with a strong service / stakeholder orientation
- Target group-oriented communication skills
- High personal persuasiveness and results orientation
