- Maintenance Supervisor will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced plant environment and enjoys being part of a team. In this role, you will perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic and preventative maintenance on all required equipment to maximize productivity while maintaining safety and quality standards. The Maintenance Supervisor / Maintenance Mechanic works in partnership with all departments as a part of a key service group to the organization. The facility is one of the top performers in the division supplying material all over the United States which translates to JOB SECURITY. - The facility currently operates 24 hours/day 7 days/week. The Maintenance Supervisor utilize a rotating schedule with every other weekend off.
- Starting Rate : $36.77 hour with a $1500.00 sign on bonus
- Your Day-to-Day
- Support and promote safe practices and environmental commitments in alignment with company commitments, policies and compliance requirements
- Directs, assists, and instructs maintenance employees to ensure work is conducted in accordance with company directives and best practices in order to achieve plant asset care and reliability goals.
- Drives continuous improvement of existing/implementation of new processes and procedures to improve operational and maintenance performance metrics and enhance productivity
- Provide technical support for the manufacturing process and provide troubleshooting of operational issues related to manufacturing systems and equipment.
- Effectively troubleshoot process equipment to identify issues within the plant and take necessary corrective actions to repair, replace or rebuild.
- Partners with Health, Safety, and Environmental to ensure compliance with standards, practices, and policies for pollution control, installation, modification, quality control, testing, operating procedure, inspection, and maintenance of equipment, according to engineering principles and safety regulations.
- Partners with Production Department to accommodate predictive maintenance activities, minimize downtime and scrap.
- Perform other job functions as requested to support the effective and efficient operation of the plant, including duties of Maintenance Technician
- Maintain, monitor, and improve the maintenance management systems including SAP inventory management, preventative maintenance planning, tracking and scheduling
- Participate in meetings/calls and support improvement efforts between plants/facilities and within the Bremen facility.
- Inspects/maintains plant buildings and facilities. May be required to troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems
