We are looking for a Marketing Design Lead (all genders) to join our global creative team in Berlin

The creative team at Babbel is an expert, in-house team of designers, writers, videographers, video producers and strategists. Together we create external and internal creative assets for all global Babbel channels, including performance-based marketing for online and offline channels, CRM, integrated brand campaigns, employer branding and more.

You will lead our team of marketing designers and work closely with copywriters, video producers, marketers and developers as well as external partners. You are passionate about creativity in marketing, highly collaborative, curious and eager to keep learning.

**You will**:

- Lead a team of 4+ designers working on Brand and Marketing
- Collaborate on a wide range of projects including digital and offline campaigns
- Create high-quality work that delights our customers, meets company objectives and reinforces our brand
- Have direct impact on customer acquisition and retention through daily collaboration with multiple stakeholders
- Independently work on medium to large-scale projects
- Present and defend your ideas, manage feedback and influence the direction of your projects by identifying and defining new opportunities
- Contribute to evolving our processes, tools and systems to ensure we stay efficient while keeping the work extraordinary
- Give and receive feedback to peers through design critique

**You have**:

- 6+ years professional marketing design experience
- Proven leadership skills within a creative team of 4+ designers
- Excellent design craft with an eye for detail and consistency
- Experience working on Performance Marketing, namely for Paid Social Marketing
- Experience working on Brand design and creative
- A strong understanding of motion design and video editing for content creation
- Proficiency with design tools like Adobe CC namely Photoshop, Illustrator and Aftereffects, Figma, etc.
- Strategic thinker, able to see an idea through from concept to execution
- Great communication and time management skills
- Comfortable with written and spoken English
