**The Opportunity**

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Work Student in Software Development to join our dynamic ITA GE team in Frankfurt. As a Work Student, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in software development, work on exciting projects and contribute to various initiatives within our department.
This role is ideal for students pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.

**Day-to-Day Responsibilities**
- Assist in the development of new features and enhancements for existing software solutions.
Conduct debugging and troubleshooting of software issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions to promote best practices in software engineering.
- Support the documentation of software requirements, design specifications, and user manuals.
Engage in agile development processes and contribute to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas and solutions to improve software products and processes.
- Assist in maintaining and updating existing codebases and documentation.

**Who Are We Looking For**

- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) is a plus.
- Understanding of database management systems (e.g., SQL) and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
