Vara - Product Lead

Your role

As the Product Lead, you will report directly to the Director of Product. You set the agenda for your team independently, meaning that you run your function entirely without day-to-day management from the leadership.

**The following tasks fall within your area of responsibility**:
Develop and Execute the Product Strategy
- Internalise Vara’s mid
- to long-term strategy and utilize it to define the quarterly Product strategy and set the right KPI
- Rally your stakeholders around it and get widespread buyin.
- Communicate the Product strategy to the Developer team
- Execute the Product strategy against your KPI and report on its progress to the rest of the team

Conceptualize the Digital Product Offering in International Markets:

- Develop the vision for the product set in Egypt & India (and more countries to follow).
- Conceptualize a Product roadmap to achieving the vision
- Define and communicate the user journeys within your products
- Build a deep understanding of your users and become the internal advocate of their needs and requirements

Develop the Product to meet high clinical standards in Germany
- Stay in contact with our German users and determine what they need to improve their performance through the use of Vara.
- Lead the conceptualisation of new features together with our Operations, ML and Developer teams
- Prioritize the Product backlog against effort & impact

Run the Day-to-Day Product Management
- Determine the content and scope of Vara’s monthly sprints and ensure timely deliveries
- Develop a deep understanding of the regulatory requirements of Vara and balance them against the need to ship continuous improvements of the Product
- Manage your stakeholders and keep them up to date on how the Product is progressing

**Profile**:
Career Experience

**Your experience is a great match if it contains the following**:

- 3-4 Years experience in building high-quality products in a fast paced environment
- Experience in the field of healthcare
- Experience in creating roadmaps, driving UX decisions, taking a product from concept to launch and leading discussions on technical implementation
- Experience in designing and executing customer journeys
- You have mentored other Product Managers or helped them reach their full potential
- A plus:

- Expertise in Design or Development
- Expertise in building products within a regulated market

Skills & Know-How
- You are able to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders incl. Developers, Operations and Regulatory to create a product with meaningful impact
- Able to own and delivering a long-term Product roadmap
- You know how to measure the success of you product and continuously iterate to improve it for the benefit of our customers and our business.
- Experience in coaching/managing junior Product Managers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
