The Materials Synthetic Biology group lead by Prof. Wilfried Weber is seeking for a

**Postdoc in Engineered Living Materials, Synthetic Biology, and Microbiology (f/m/d)**

in the frame of the EIC-funded consortium LoopOfFun.

**Your profile**:

- Doctorate (PhD) in natural sciences in the fields of microbiology (fungi), biochemistry, biomaterials, or comparable areas
- Experience in one or several of the following fields
- Handling and genetic engineering of filamentous fungi
- Synthetic biology and protein engineering
- Experience in the synthesis and characterization of (living) biohybrid materials
- Ability to work in a team, flexibility, self-organization and enjoyment of scientific exchange- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage ambitious projects with international partners.
