Emc Lab Intern

**POSITION OVERVIEW**

Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) is a global power management semiconductor company that is growing rapidly in the european market, thanks to our portfolio of incredible solutions built from our industry-leading, proprietary process technology. We are seeking for a intern at our new location at Ettenheim (D-77955), Germany. You will be instrumental in the expansion of our testing services and have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across our global locations (US, Europe, Asia).

**JOB FUNCTIONS**

As an intern for EMC and Analog Ciruit design you’ll work with different MPS and Customer products. You will support the local team by preparing and running Electromagnetic Testing and Electrical Tests acc. to international test standards. Some of your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

- Assistance with the commissioning of the measuring technology and test stations
- Support in the commissioning and analysis of evaluation boards and analog circuits
- Assistance in and execution of research including documentation
- PCB layout of prototypes

**REQUIREMENTS (Minimum)**
- Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering or related field
- Basic understanding of schematics, layouts and digital components
- Initial Experiences with analog circuitry (examples include: op-amps, DC/DC converter, motor driver, data converters, sensing, etc.)

**QUALIFICATIONS (preferred)**
- Initial experience in analog design and control theory
- Experience with PCB layout tools
- Basic understanding of electro-magnetic interference (EMI)
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
- Good listener and good verbal and written communication skills
