Our proteomics team in Munich is looking for a highly motivated, creative and passionate:
Senior Research Scientist

Mass Spectrometry (f/m/d)

Full time, permanent

Your Key Responsibilities
- You will work on a research project in proteomics for an international client.
- You will oversee the information exchange and communication between internal project groups. You provide scientific expertise in the field of mass spectrometry based proteomics and constantly improve applied mass spectrometry based proteomics methodologies to deliver first in class services.
- Together with the bioinformatics team, you analyze and report your data in internal meetings and to the customer.
- You participate in interdisciplinary teams alongside colleagues, scientists from customers and actively contribute to integrated projects.
- Furthermore, you will have personnel responsibility for technical assistants.

Your Qualifications
- You have a PhD degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry or a related field.
- Ideally, you have already made first experience in leading a team of PhD students and/or technical assistants.
- Your knowledge and experience in mass spectrometry and proteomics is on an expert level with in-depth practical experience in data-independent MS acquisition methods (DIA) and others.
- Due to your Post-Doc and/or work experience in an industrial setting, you are experienced in working in a multidisciplinary project, know to manage your timelines and communicate precisely your concerns and ideas.
- You are able to focus on key tasks in a customer-oriented project.
- Strong communication and presentation skills facilitating efficient collaborations with other teams at Evotec and with our customers.
- Fluent English language skills (written and spoken) top off your profile.
- Ideally you speak German as well, if not, you have a strong commitment to master the German language in a timely manner.
