**The role**

The Senior System Engineer at Ratepay holds a pivotal role in the administration and development of ServiceNow alongside corporate IT systems. Key responsibilities include the oversight of ServiceNow administration, network administration, firewall management, and coordination with service partners

**What you bring along**
- Security Skills: Ensuring operational safety across all IT systems and networks.
- Network Administration: Administering and managing HPE Aruba/Comware and Meraki Networks.
- Firewall Management: Administering and managing PaloAlto Cluster Firewall, Vmware NSX, and Watchguard.
- Service Provider Management: Overseeing external service providers, including cost control, feature development, incident coordination, and project management.
- License Management: Managing licenses efficiently to ensure compliance and optimal usage.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in both English and German to facilitate compliance with local regulations, such as Bafin compliance, and collaboration with auditors.

**Desirable Skills**
- Microsoft Skills: Microsoft administration experience, especially in Active Directory and PowerShell scripting.
- Experience with ServiceNow APIs: Proficiency in working with APIs in ServiceNow, with experience integrating with Atlassian, SAP, or Salesforce systems.
- JavaScript: Proficient in JavaScript, with the ability to develop and customize solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
- Database Knowledge: Experience with databases within the ServiceNow environment, including database management and optimization.
