Supervisory Intelligence Specialist

**Duties**:
- Coordinates issues impacting on Army, INSCOM and Army Tactical Intelligence units, working all in concert with United States Army Europe (USAREUR).
- Prepares, presents and coordinates high priority Army intelligence requirements with national level agencies, Cryptologic and operation centers, and other services.
- Provides guidance and direction to facilitate the Army Modular Forces? involvement in, and utilization of, National Systems in support of Army Tactical requirements.
- Identifies and allocates resources, validates missions, mission objectives, short range mission execution plans and identifies training requirements, as well as supports strategic and national planners in the areas of responsibility.
- Represents Army/INSCOM at high-level forums, working groups and committees which review, coordinate and approve Tactical Overwatch mission requirements, concepts and activities for worldwide implementation by Tactical Forces.
- Establishes work plans and schedules, and assigns tasks based upon command objectives, priorities and policies as established by higher authority.

- Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
- In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
- Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) may be required up to 25% of the time.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET Security Clearance based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).

- In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
- To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as experience that has included defining and developing tactical intelligence concepts, capabilities and strategies; planning, coordinating and establishing effective intelligence organizational objectives and operations; coordinating and developing training standards and capabilities to meet new objectives, and establishing collaborative relationships with supporting organizations and partnering agencies that support and rely on the intelligence mission. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG/GS-13).

Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligence-related research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled. This experience should demonstrate: Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data.
