To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced and dedicated

**Head of Quality Assurance (M/F/d)**

to lead quality assurance auditing of our global production facilities and lead the development of quality assurance processes, standards and protocols. The role will also be involved in technology research projects, testing standards/protocols and quality improvement projects.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

**Internal Auditing and Process Security**
- Conducting and monitoring internal audits in global production facilities.
- Ensuring compliance with international quality standards such as IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and relevant legal requirements, as well as internal company guidelines.
- Defining and implementing standards for production processes and product quality.
- Development and implementation of new testing methods for continuous quality improvement.

**Quality Management and Product Approval**
- Developing evaluation methods and testing procedures for initial sampling and product approval.
- Improving existing QM processes to ensure comprehensive quality assurance.
- Identifying and implementing process optimizations.

**Data Analysis and KPI Management**
- Defining and monitoring quality performance indicators (KPIs).
- Documenting and conducting statistical analysis of quality results to optimize production processes.

**Collaboration with other Departments**
- Close and proactive cooperation with the sales, product management, and supply chain management departments to ensure seamless integration of quality assurance into the overall value chain.
- Supporting marketing with quality-related information and communication guidelines.

**International Travel**
- Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 30-35% of working time) for audits and quality inspections at our production sites worldwide, particularly in Asia and the USA/Mexico.

**Requirements & Qualifications**
- Technical/engineering background, ideally with a bachelor's degree or a certified automotive master technician with IT affinity.
- At least 5 years of experience in quality assurance/quality management, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
- Profound knowledge of the IAM industry and its product categories.
- Experience in process development and validation of quality assurance measures.
- Strong affinity for materials such as metal alloys, cast iron, fiber composites, and plastics.
- Excellent proficiency in MS Office and TecDoc.
- Analytical and solution-oriented mindset with a structured and goal-oriented approach.
- Very good command of English, both spoken and written.
- Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 30%-35% of working time).
