The position is to be filled for a fixed term until 04 December 2024
as part of a maternity and parental leave replacement, with the
possibility of an extension prospectively until 30 November 2025.
YOUR TASKS
- Conducting research in the Academy‘s fields of research (Euro
- pean and international human rights protection, constitutional
law public international law and Eastern European law)
- Participation in and organization of events and research projects

YOUR PROFILE
- Research proposal in the Academy‘s research areas
- PhD Dissertation in the Academy‘s research areas (grade obtai
- ned at least „magna cum laude“) or an equivalent outstanding
foreign doctoral degree
- Relevant peer-reviewed publications in the Academy‘s research
areas
- (German) first or second state exam (grade obtained at least
„vollbefriedigend“ in the obligatory state examination) or an
equivalent excellent foreign law degree
- Profound knowledge in the area of international human rights
law as well as public international law and constitutional law
- Excellent English proficiency as well as another foreign language
- Proven teaching experience
