WHO YOU ARE
- You are motivated by improving IKEA customers’ product quality experience through ensuring safe and compliant products. You are passionate about people, business and continuously driving better performance and growth.
- You have experience in retail, preferably in Product quality, Product Compliance, Product requirements, Circularity or similar.
- Experience with IKEA Recovery or Sales and interest in Product Quality is an advantage.
- You have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trustful relationships including very good communication skills in German (C1 or C2) and English.
- You have experience of business planning process as well as direction setting, creation of strategic and operational goals and plans including follow up on KPIs. You can prioritize and take decision with speed and simplicity and capture learnings to improve.
- You have knowledge of the legislation and standards or the ability to acquire this knowledge - preferably applicable for the product range within Home Furnishing and/or Food.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- You are responsible for driving growth by ensuring the offering of safe and compliant Home Furnishing and Food products to IKEA customers on a country level.
- You contribute to the product compliance work in the retail market, ensuring that we offer safe and compliant Home Furnishing & Food products to our customers.
- As a member of the PQR&C (Product Quality, Recovery & Compliance) team within the Selling department you proactively contribute to the PQR&C plan to deliver to the common objectives and goals.
- You monitor and report on national regulation, industry standards, health and safety standards. You follow-up on the end-to end compliance of the IKEA product offer throughout the retail operations.
- You support the implementation of common product compliance processes, tools and KPI’s and escalate any product related noncompliance and risks including recall processes.
- You actively cooperate and keep a good relationship with all internal and external key stakeholders, like the national consumer authorities. You keep the company informed about product safety and compliance.

This job is located in our Service Office/ Head Office of IKEA Germany in Hofheim-Wallau between Wiesbaden and Frankfurt am Main.
