Senior Finance Controller F/m/d

To strengthen our team and development we are looking for an **Senior Controller **in **Germany.**

You will be part of a dynamic and diversified team, driving change in the finance department. You will act in contact with the general management. You will play a pivotal role within the Group's finance department, supporting the management. You will monitor and analyze all financial developments in the country. You will contribute to strengthening the role of our German Business Units as a growth lever by modernizing financial processes.

**ACTIVITIES**

You are an entrepreneurial and hands-on Senior Controller who combines the following main tasks:

- The responsibility for a well-running financial/administrative process within two German Business Units, accepting the necessity of (occasional) operational involvement in the various activities.
- Provide support in realizing the growth and further improvement of the Business Units through fact-based analysis.
- Continuously looking for Cost Control, cost reduction.
- (Financial) Risk mitigation
- General Accounting

**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Management of 2/3 accountants
- (Setting up and) Maintaining the administration (in SAP) and closure of the months
- Responsible of quarterly accounting situation (consolidation package) in respect on the timetable given by financial department
- (Setting up and) Creating reports including consolidation on BU Level:

- _Monthly internal reports for the EVP/management team (monthly P&L, CFS, BS and KPIs) reports to ICAPE Central organization (a/o Break Even analysis).
- Annual accounts (German GAAP)
- Support the local (GmbH) financial/tax audits in co-operation with the external auditor
- Communication with bank and accountant
- Management of internal control. Authorization of payments and approval of purchase orders. Stock and accounts receivable management
- Management of the budget process. Drawing up and monitoring the budget
- Cash management (Cash Conversion Cycle) and liquidity forecasts
- Fact-based analysis for realizing the growth and further improvement of the company in co-operation with the BU Director
- Responsible for tax optimization and tax returns in co-operation with the Central Finance ICAPE
- Responsible for VAT declarations
- Management of the automation and development of new IT initiatives to improve the processes and efficiency of the organization
- Managing and optimizing the financial logistics flow, including keeping track of stocks in Munich and at the customers (consignment) and, if applicable, self-billing processes.

**NECESSARY SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES**
- 5 to 10 years' of professional accounting experience.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of SAP (if possible S4/HANA FI) would be appreciated.
- Knowledge of German accounting mandatory (general / customer / supplier).
- Previous working experience in an accounting department is mandatory.
- Advanced skills using Excel.
- You are able to speak **German **and **English **to work in an international environment.
- Accurate and reliable. Works according to the “first time right” principle.

**LOCATION**

We are looking for a flexible person: you will work mainly in our office in Munich (Bavaria) but will be able to travel to our offices in Rheinfelden-Herten (Baden-Württemberg) and Schnaittenbach (Bavaria) to work with our colleagues.

You will also be able to travel to our headquarters in France (near Paris) if necessary.
