We are convinced, that various central banks will introduce a digital version of their currency, a so-called Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) like the digital Euro in the coming years. This will create an entirely new market for products and services that fit perfectly with Giesecke+Devrient's product portfolio. It especially requires and outstanding team to deliver a disruptive innovation of that magnitude. For this, we have set-up a team as an independent start-up within G+D advance52 GmbH that has a clear mission for growth and to create a substantial product business.
For our legal entity **advance52 **we** **are looking for a **(Senior) Controller (M/F/d)** as soon as possible:
**Your Responsibilities**:

- Development, preparation and evaluation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports and financial statements
- Responsible for budget planning process as well as management of the entire business case
- Creation and preparation of reporting to management and advisory bodies for monthly and quarterly performance reviews (incl. strategic and operational planning as well as forecast)
- Support of custmer projects from a finanical perspective - e.g. setting up customer projects, purchasing of goods&services for projects as well as supporting of the financial performance of projects together with project management
- Responsible for purchasing and invoice management process - including software licences
- Analysis and critical evaluation of financial data as well as independent derivation of optimization proposals
- Ad-hoc analysis of financial data and preparation of information for management and supervisory bodies
- Competent contact person for all questions regarding cost structures and transfer pricing models
- Close cooperation with other controlling and finance departments of the G+D Group
- Contact person for service recipients on SLA-relevant issues, e.g. administration and reconciliation of services and prices

**Your Profile**:

- Successfully completed studies with a business/commercial focus (diploma or master's degree in business administration, business informatics or similar)
- Several years of professional experience
- Profound knowledge of controlling relevant metrics/benchmarks, allocation models, methodologies and tools of (IT) controlling
- Knowledge of financial accounting, cost accounting, budget planning, reporting and profitability analysis
- Very good analytical skills
- Independent, structured and conscientious way of working
- Experience in management-oriented preparation as well as skill in visualizing correlations and formulating meaningful comments
- Good communication skills up to top management level
- Potential to take on personnel and team management tasks
- Confident in the use of common SAP and MS Office products
- Fluent in German and English
