**Role Description**

The successful Account Exec will not only be joining one of the highest growth teams within Salesforce but will have a diverse and varied role due to the timing and scale of the opportunity. You will be responsible for our Net Zero Cloud product within your Territory or Region. This will include:

- Building strong internal champions & enabling the broader sales community to sell on your behalf
- Leading multiple opportunities
- Building Industry POV and strategies
- Working with C-suite
- Closing deals directly

The Net Zero Cloud Account Executive will formulate and implement a sales strategy within an assigned territory, drive revenue growth by penetrating the current customer base, and develop new customers in their assigned space.

**Your Impact**

**Your Qualifications**:
You have a strong successful background of quota carrying software sales experience
- Experience in selling to C-suite level executives
- User of sales methodology, ideally MEDDIC
- Successful track record, meeting & exceeding targets
- Strong EQ and ability to build champions amongst peers, internal & external senior stakeholders
- Strength in building and running of ‘at scale’ sales methodology
- Able to generate short term results while maintaining a long term perspective to maximize overall revenue generation
- Experience in the sustainability software space is preferred
- Fluency in German and English is required

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Meet and exceed an annual sales quota
- Maintain account and opportunity forecasting within our internal salesforce system
- Develop trusted internal and customer relationships to create successful sales relationships
- Effectively communicate the business value of the Net Zero Cloud solution, often at the CxO level
- Create and drive revenue within your assigned territory
- Lead the end to end sales process through engagement of appropriate resources such as Sales Engineers, Professional Services, Executives, Sales Strategists, Partners, etc.
- Generate short term results while maintaining a long term perspective to optimize overall revenue generation.
- Thoroughly qualify leads & sales opportunities
- Leverage new & established relationships to strategize, negotiate, & close business
