Your new job includes
- As Legal Counsel (M/F/d), you will be responsible for advising and supporting all business units, in particular Purchasing and Sales, on all contractual, commercial and corporate law issues of Gebr. Heinemann and its international subsidiaries. In particular, you will- perform a legal (pre-)review and evaluation of various (international) in-house legal matters
- provide advice and draft, review and negotiate in particular commercial and procurement contracts, service contracts and other legal documents
- monitor and prepare the possible impact of business-relevant legal issues and requirements and derive measures to be taken
- be jointly responsible for commissioning and managing external law firms and service providers
- handle and accompany the official procedures and possible court cases arising in the company after consultation with and, if necessary, in the company of the executive manager
What you should bring along
- completed law studies, preferably 2nd state examination or comparable qualification
- first professional experience, ideally in an international trading company or law firm
- experience in managing service providers and in negotiating with international suppliers and customers
- fluent knowledge of the German and English languages, both written and spoken
- high level of proactivity and enjoyment of teamwork
- interest in geopolitical contexts that have an impact on the travel of different nationalities/countries
