**Our mission**:
At Veli, we address two of the major challenges of our generation: the climate crisis and the demographic change. Our mission is to enable everyone to live independently, safely, and sustainably in their own homes into old age by making Veli the central ecosystem for health and sustainability in everyone’s households.

We have entered the market with our novel IoT-based ambient assisted living solution that uses the data which is available in every household: the power and water consumption. Our AI analyzes the energy consumption data of elderly people and notifies caregivers in case of anomalies or emergencies. In this way, the home itself becomes a smart guardian for the residents and assistance is initiated when it is really needed.

**Your role**:
As a Founder’s Associate you will have the opportunity to shape the strategy and operations of Veli, with a focus on our Seed fundraising round. You’ll gain a detailed overview of our operations, learn from the best and brightest minds in the industry, and have a real impact on the success of the company. You work closely together with our COO Max and get a comprehensive insight into major areas of our startup and take over strategic projects as well as operational tasks:

- **Sales strategy and marketing**: You work on our go-to-market strategy, identify and help us win partners and customers. You analyze current market trends and keep an eye on our competitors.
- **Grow our team and culture**: Developing and implementing policies related to e.g. recruitment, onboarding, work processes. You foster the team spirit by coordinating team and company events.
- **Represent Veli**: You support the founders in communicating the company’s vision to internal and external stakeholders, e.g. on LinkedIn or events.

**Your profile**:

- Passion for entrepreneurship and a hunger to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, can-do mindset with a strong sense of curiosity.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Strong analytical thinking, quick learner and comfortable working with numbers.
- Exceptional communication skills in German and English, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Bonus: Already experienced in working in a fast-paced environment, creating business models and financial forecasts.
- Valid working permit, minimum 50% availability.
