**Role Description**

As a Tax Manager within our global Finance team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our company's tax compliance and financial stability. Your responsibilities will include:

- Collaborate with the Finance team to prepare tax calculations for current and deferred taxes as part of the financial statement preparation process.
- Review (advance) tax returns, tax balances, and related documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare brief statements in response to individual tax inquiries.
- Provide in-house tax advice, primarily in the areas of corporation tax, trade tax, sales tax, international tax law, and work closely with external tax advisors.
- Support the monitoring of tax audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage tax processes and maintain oversight of day-to-day business activities and critical transactions for our national and international subsidiaries.

**Requirements**:

- Completed studies in taxation, accounting, finance, or a related field; certification as a tax advisor is a plus.
- Relevant experience in professional services or in the finance and accounting departments of a company with international operations.
- High motivation to establish and develop a business from the ground up, taking full ownership of the role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Solid grasp of procedures and systems, with a keen focus on the core aspects.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and German.
