**Role & Responsibilities**:
As the Corporate Communications Lead, you will develop and implement an effective communications strategy that shapes public perception and fosters employee identification within our company. Your role supports the company’s goals, enhances its reputation, and ensures consistent and impactful messaging across all channels and platforms internally and externally.
- Develop and implement a strategic communications plan that supports the company's vision, mission, and strategy on a global scale.
- Develop key messaging and positioning for the company, ensuring consistency across all internal and PR-related channels.
- Assume full ownership of all internal communication streams, spearheading and cultivating change initiatives with the essential support and contribution from internal stakeholders.
- Execute and manage crisis situations through effective communication, driven by exemplary moderation and communication skills.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key media outlets, analysts, and influencers to increase the company's visibility and thought leadership.
- Collaborate with executives and key stakeholders on strategic communication plans and budget that align with business objectives.
- Lead a team of PR managers and internal communications managers, providing leadership, guidance and support to ensure effective collaboration and performance, with the aim of building strong relationships, resolving conflict and creating a positive working environment that fosters collaboration and productivity.

**Required Skills & Experience**:

- A University degree in Communications, or a related field is a requirement and a minimum of 10+ years of experience in corporate communications, preferably within fintech or related industries.
- Proven expertise in managing a diverse team to peak performance, attracting top talents and empowering team members to reach their full potential. Taking ownership of actions, holding oneself and the team accountable for delivering results, setting clear expectations, and providing constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Compelling skills in executing comprehensive communication strategies, campaign management, communication management, content development, project management, stakeholder management, and public relations.
- Adaptability to embrace change, new strategies and tools in a rapidly evolving marketing landscape.
- Strong storytelling skills to communicate a clear vision for the future and inspire alignment among teams.
- Ability to handle communication effectively during a crisis, demonstrating excellent moderation and communication skills in English and one of the languages of our locations (German, Dutch, or Swedish).
- Experienced proactive strategic thinker, pragmatic in execution with a passion for data-driven decisions.
