**Job Description**:

- Work alongside a highly motivated team of software engineers and quantitative strategists implementing change in the financial industry
- Get to work on cutting edge technology and be part of modern software development practices (e.g. agile and self-sufficient teams, continuous integration and deployment, test automation, cloud-based infrastructure and tooling)
- Bridge the worlds of engineering and science by productionizing econometric models that react to market movements and client requests in hundreds of thousands of individual portfolios
- Contribute to the development of new and innovative dashboards in Python Dash
- Contribute to the improvement and automation of market data analytics and delivery
- Get exposure to trading algorithms that make half a million trading decisions per day
- Support investment managers, trading and backend IT-implementation

**Qualifications**:
**As a member of our Financial Engineering Team, you have**
- Excellent academic background in a quantitative discipline (financial mathematics, computational finance, statistics or a similar field)
- Very good Python knowledge
- Knowledge of version control software, software development and software design
- You are available for min. 3 months internship or 6 months as a working student
- Fluency in English (written & spoken)

**Preferred skills**
- Experience with cloud providers like AWS
- Experience in relational databases / SQL
- Knowledge in econometrics, portfolio optimization and risk modelling
- Proactive and independent workstyle, good time management, fair play
- Passion for the global financial markets
