Senior Non-life Actuary

This role will involve you working closely with the management board, as well as with our finance, underwriting and product teams from all markets where Luko Insurance is operating to proactively manage our risks, identify and pursue new products and help manage our full range of regulatory requirements.

**Your mission in the team**:
As part of the actuarial function you will be responsible for:

- Calculating the Solvency II technical provisions, including calibration of key model variables and parameters, and assisting in the completion of regulatory returns.
- Analyzing reserve and underwriting risk to support the parameterization of key inputs to the internal capital model.
- Developing and refining the capital model framework both from an internal business perspective and a Solvency II perspective. Contribute to embedding key model uses across the business including Strategic Risk Metrics, reinsurance analysis, evaluating new business lines, and investment portfolio strategies.
- Meeting and approaching members of other teams across the company in a collaborative effort to improve processes. Gain a greater understanding of a wide range of different insurance lines of business.
- Developing management information and metrics to enhance ongoing communication with the business.
- Validating the prices created by the business
- Supporting QRT submission with the Risk Management function

**What do we recommend to be successful?**:
**Experience**:
You have at least 3 years of experience in reserving, pricing, or general actuarial fields
You are proficient in SQL / R / Python or other programming languages
(Bonus if) You have an experience in general accounting standards (Solvency II, IFRS, or HGB German Gaap)
