**Your future plans**
The Hedging & Margin Controlling CAO CE team is situated in the controlling department at RWE Supply & Trading GmbH (RWEST). The team is responsible for the risk controlling for CAO CE’s hedging desk and the calculation, analysis and reporting of RWE’s generation margin for conventional and renewables assets in CE.

The team has a strong cross-collaboration with many teams at RWEST, RWE AG and the generation companies. This provides the opportunity to be involved in many overarching discussions and decisions and gain a great insight into RWE’s core business.

Now the team is looking for a new team member, who is highly motivated and interested.
- Daily reporting of risk positions and performance of CAO CE’s hedging desks
- Monitoring of market risk limits and adequate communication of limit breaches
- Calculation of the wholesale margin of RWE’s power generation and support the interfaces to the generation companies
- Generating reports and analyses for senior management of RWEST, RWE AG and the generation companies as well as supervisory boards
- Supporting initiatives for process optimisation, automation and implementation of analysis tools and automation
- Collaborating with other controlling departments, CAO Front Office and accounting
- Actively supporting the forecasting and planning process
- Close interaction with Front Office to understand and challenge trading strategies, development of the business and finding solutions for operational problems

**Your powerful skills**
- University degree in a relevant numerate discipline, e.g. Economics, Mathematics, Science or equivalent
- Experience of Market Risk and ability to understand and solve complex problems
- Good problem solving skills as well as strong self-motivation and willingness to learn new tasks quickly
- Understanding of commodity trading, physical asset trading instruments and/or financial trading instruments, commercial asset optimisation, experience in Controlling, risk controlling of finance
- Knowledge of IT systems (Microsoft Excel & Access, SQL, VBA, SAP and OpenLink Endur)
- Teamwork: in our team we support each other and contribute to the team’s success with our strengths and knowledge
- Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment with changing tasks and responsibilities
