We're now offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled Payroll and Billing Specialist to join the EMEA Payroll and Billing Team.

Reporting directly to the Payroll & Billing Manager - EMEA, you will be responsible for accurate, timely and completeness of payrolling our employees / contractors and invoicing of the clients for Germany.

For the Payroll the Coordinator acts as an interface between P20 operations (Client Services, Contractor Care) and the external service providers. For the billing you work closely with the sales teams and accounting team.

**What will you be doing as a Payroll and Billing Specialist?**
- Coordinate and verify the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees.
- Process invoicing either via P20 system, VMS or client portals.
- Overseeing the calculation and verification of wages, overtime, bonuses and deductions, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Ensure our systems are up to date and data quality is maintained.
- Main point of contact for resolving complex payroll and billing queries and escalations
- Conduct regular reviews of payroll data to identify discrepancies and take corrective action as required.
- Keep abreast of changes in payroll legislation and industry best practices and coordinate with the external payroll provider to implement necessary updates to ensure compliance.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive payroll and billing manual.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in payroll administration.

**What experience will help you thrive as Payroll and Billing Specialist?**

Essential experience:

- Fluent in both English and German
- Experience in German payroll/HR, billing administration or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- A high level of attention to detail.
- Knowledge of payroll regulations and statutory requirements.

Desirable experience:

- At least 3 years of experience in payroll accounting, preferably knowledge in the field of temporary employment
- Certification in payroll accounting (e.g. Certified Payroll Professional) is desirable.
