**The Role**

As a **Junior Technical Writer**, you are a fluent German and English speaker with your heart beating for technical writing and transforming technical documentation into optimized structured content using a content management system and collaborating with product managers and development teams.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Creating, updating, structuring and optimizing technical documentation in German, taking our internal Style Guide as a basis
- Documenting new features of our innovative Workforce Management software products in line with our agile process
- Challenge: preparing complex content appropriate to our target audiences professionally and didactically in co-operation with the Development and Product Management teams involved
- Working with DITA XML in the MadCap IXIA Component Content Management System; different methods of publication, including a Content Delivery Portal
- Gradual assumption of responsibility for planning and implementing documentation projects
- Where interested: configuring the tools used

**Key Requirements**
- Degree in Technical Writing or comparable vocational training
- Software is your passion**: initial experience**as a Technical Writer in the IT sector would be desirable
- Practical experience with a **Content Management System**:

- Knowledge of topic orientation and** DITA XML**:

- An excellent knowledge of **German**and very good knowledge of **English**, both written and spoken
- The ability to work both autonomously and in close dialogue with the team
