**Aufgaben**: The Mercedes-Benz Group AG is one of the most successful automotive companies in the world. Our Center of Competence "Shopfloor and Vehicle Software" (ITO/CS) is in charge of IT-products for shopfloor processes in Mercedes-Benz production plants, and those for vehicle software in production, beginning with order specific provisioning of vehicles to initial operation and quality assurance. Hand in hand with colleagues on the business side we develop appropriate IT products to make best use of digitalization in our production. We work in interdisciplinary and globally staffed product teams on current cloud based technologies. Our Team "Architecture, Technology, and Security" (ATS) is set up as cross cutting capability team and contributes with its expertise to all products within the CoC ( Center of Competence). Each member has a specific business focus in one of the product teams, this assures relevance of our work and the implementation competency within the team. We conduct an intense exchange with the colleagues of other ATS teams within the area, and learn from each other. Your business focus as "Solution Architect Vehicle Diagnostic and Commissioning Services (f/m/x)" will be the domain of vehicle software in production, consisting of a family of continuity critical systems on premises, and enabling systems in public clouds. Current activities comprise the transformation of current solutions to cloud native architectures, also for those systems on premises. In addition, you will work on delimited work packages of architectural or technological topics of rather general interest. Mobile work is common practice. **Your responsibilities include: - Design and architect the ecosystem of vehicle diagnostic and commissioning systems in Mercedes-Benz plants - Plan, design, and build of innovative infrastructures - on premises and in public clouds - and seamless integration - Collaboration with international software teams - Work on delimited IT architecture or technology topics for the area of the department (ITO) - Scouting of new software technologies and evaluation of fitness in our realm **Qualifikationen**: **What you bring to the table: - Several years of experience in architecting and implementing highly available and distributed service architectures - Several years of experience in software development including significant coding skills - Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud IT technology space - Strong communication abilities - Fluent in English and German **Benefits / We offer you more than just an employment relationship.
